A SYMBOL OF STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM
The iconic “Kufiya” (also known as “Shemagh” or “Keffiyeh”) garment holds greater significance today than ever before. Traditionally draped over the head or shoulders by farmers, the Kufiya experienced a resurgence in the last century, becoming closely associated with the fight for Palestinian freedom and sovereignty. Adopted by revolutionaries during the 1930s Arab Revolt, this traditional Arabic scarf or headdress became the emblem of Palestinian rebels resisting British imperialism. Soon after, in ongoing solidarity with Palestinian heritage and the struggle for independence from Israeli occupation, the Kufiya rose to prominence as a potent symbol of Palestinian resistance and liberation.

Since 1981, our workshop and artisans have crafted authentic Palestinian products, rooted in cultural heritage and ethical commerce. We support local craftsmanship as part of our commitment to the self determination and freedom of our People.
