About Us
SYMBOLS OF STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM
We are two brothers, united by a shared passion for championing traditional crafts and empowering the communities who rely on them. Based in Europe, we work with Palestinian refugees, partnering directly or through trusted NGOs to ensure fair wages and, when possible, access to education. By nurturing sustainable livelihoods, we are proud to contribute to the preservation of craft traditions that span generations.
As advocates for slow living and guardians of Mother Nature, we co-create products that are unique, toxin free, and environmentally friendly, emphasizing natural materials that support both the planet and the people who craft them. Our mission goes beyond just creating beautiful items, we aim to make a positive impact.
Through our work, we continue to support the legacy of Palestinian craftsmanship, blending tradition with innovation to make sure that products like the Kufiya remain symbols of heritage, resistance, and resilience. Together, we strive to foster a future where justice, sustainability, and empowerment are at the heart of everything we do.
OUR MISSION
Our mission remains centered on the empowerment of Palestinian heritage, yet we are also embracing contemporary creativity and innovation. We believe that fashion, art, and culture are powerful tools for activism, and our new collections aim to amplify voices that fight for freedom, equality, and dignity. Our commitment to the cause is unwavering, and as we innovate, we continue to create products that inspire solidarity, support, and a lasting impact on the global stage.
The KUFIYA® is dedicated to supporting Palestine. That’s why we donate 50% of our total profits to support children and families in Gaza. Over the past three years, we have donated $1,303,257 to provide essential water, food, and medical aid to those in need.

UNWAVERING PERSEVERANCE AGAINST EXTERNAL PRESSURE
From the era of the British Empire to the Israeli occupation, Palestinian products have remained a symbol of resistance and sovereignty for the Palestinian people.
Sadly, due to the rise of low cost overseas manufacturing, most Palestinian products seen today are no longer connected to the land they represent. Following the signing of the 1993 Oslo Accords and the adoption of a free market policy, the influx of inexpensive products produced abroad began to flood global markets. The growing competitive pressure from mass produced alternatives started to harm local Palestinian producers.
Moreover, the Israeli occupation, with its checkpoints and roadblocks, has further obstructed the production and trade of Palestinian small businesses. As a result, production and trade within Palestinian small businesses have been diminishing, and the Palestinian economy has been steadily suffocated.
NEW BEGINNINGS AND THE REVIVAL OF THE KUFIYA FACTORY
The Kufiya Factory faced numerous challenges. Its production dropped dramatically from 15,000 units per year in 1993 to just 4,000 units by 2010.
On the verge of collapse, the revival of the Factory was made possible by shifting focus from local sales in the Middle East to tapping into the growing influence of social media and the expanding online community.
In collaboration with an European organization founded by Palestinians, the Kufiya Factory launched palestiniankufiya.org, a website that became the primary platform for selling its products online.
THE FUTURE OF KUFIYA
After supporters of the Palestinian made Kufiya brought the factory light, the international community responded. And the mission of the Family to preserve the Palestinian Kufiya was restored.
Today, we continue to honor the legacy of the Kufiya, but we are also pushing the boundaries of innovation. While our roots lie in the iconic Keffiyeh, we are now expanding our horizons by creating new products that carry forward the Palestinian cause. From apparel to accessories, we are blending tradition with modern design, ensuring that the symbol of freedom and resistance continues to evolve in a way that resonates with today’s global movement for justice.
Palestine will live on. Palestine will be free!! 🍉🍉🍉
